In Honour of Common Sense

While it has been known for a long time, that Minerals and Trace Minerals are vital to our general health, it has been less well appreciated that they are vital in many other areas of human ability.
We invite you to discover for yourself, four additional things about minerals in the 21st Century.

Firstly
, they are at present, a great deal more deficient than previously thought.  Even the most dedicated shopper will never get within a mile of purchasing enough mineral rich foods, to reach their potential as a human.

Secondly
, taken at those higher intakes, minerals provide not just a better health outcome, but offer a  whole new potential to life, both at work, sport and at home.

Thirdly
, part of the supply should be in the form of concentrated kelp powder, which provides glandular support (hormone activity).

And fourthly,
when taken in a naturally balanced, inclusive and largely organic form, they are safe even at relatively high doses.

Finally,
without minerals, taking vitamins is almost a waste of time, as with out minerals, vitamins, enzymes, fatty acids, either do not exist or have no role to play.

So vital and basic to our heritage, are these nutrients, that any deficiency will potentially affect fertility, the likely hood of birth defects, our ability to learn and be taught, tolerance of our environment, ability to safely identify and remove ingested toxins, build strong ligaments, sinews, bone and muscle, balance acidity and cholesterol and adjust blood sugar etc.
Sound too good to believe?  To some lesser degree you are correct, as there are a samll number of life style habits that will help.  For example, some exercise most days, some salad or uncooked food each day and avoid transfats as though they will kill you (which they will).  This last one is the hardest to adhere to, as these engineered oils are so widespread.  They have been banned in several states of the country that discovered them; the United States. The only food you can be sure has does not contain them, is whole food.  The worst culprits are margarine like spreads, fast food, cakes, bread, cosmetics, fat free foods etc etc.
